Thanks!!1 Get rid of cable TV and use netflix, hulu. Call your cellphone provider and try to get a lower rate. This has always worked for me. I went from $87 down to $67 with AT&T. Mention other places have better rates. And if you've been with them fro X amount of time, it'll work. Communicate with your boss, your situation. Maybe ask for general advice on what he'd do to cut back, or how you can earn more with company by taking on more responsibilities if possible. Or offer to renegotiate his supplies with companies and you getting a % of the savings. I have made some extra money a few different ways. If you are close with your franchise owner, you might ask them if there is something that they contract out that you could do as a contractor. (IE, window washing, property maintenance... anything that they would pay a non employee to do). You could do something like mowing lawns/snow blowing... but be careful not to over promise. If you choose this route, I would be very up front about how it is not an indefinite ongoing service. You could find yourself in trouble from having too much work. If you are outgoing - I have worked as a trivia master for $50-$60 per night which came with dinner and drinks on the house.
